Maytag LSE 1000 Stacked Washer / Dryer , Doesnt Function

I have had this washer in storage for sometime now. I recently needed a washer and installed it.


I pressed Large,Warm Water,on the computer panel and it filled...
It filled properly, but stops there. The digital display shows a letter L in the vew window. I do not have a user manual or actually know how to run this washer.

If I press the Pause Resume button, I see 10, then goes back to L, and beep beep ( double beep)

Can you help me with this, I do not know if this is a error/broken machine or if it is just user failure. I would appreciate any help.

Hi,

Sorry for the delay my computer is down and I have been looking for a service manual to help you best.

L being displayed means that the lid is opened. I assume the lid isn’t open so we can assume the lid switch is bad. Replace the lid switch and if the problem persist the control is bad.
