Dryer not heating

DBXR463ED2WW, GE, I have cleaned everything to clean, breakers are fine, working one day, not the next. Everything else seems to be working. Thanks for help!

On this dryer this problem is almost always going to be the heating element. It could be something else but the heater is most likely so check that first.

To do so you have to remove the drum this page will help GE Dryer Disassembly

Be sure to disconnect the power to the dryer before attempting to do this.

Once the drum is out you should see the heater coils behind the drum, inspect them to see if they are broken and if so replace them. If you can’t see a break in the coils it can still be bad. If you have an ohmmeter check for continuity across the coils and if either of the two coils are open (no continuity) replace them.

If this isn’t your problem post back and we will go from there.
