FRIDGE NOT WORKING
I TURNED OFF MY G.E. 10 MONTHS AGO AND JUST MOVED IT TO ANOTHER HOME. IT WORKED VERY WELL WHEN I TURNED IT OFF, NOW THE ONLY THING THAT WORKS IS THE LIGHT IN THE FRIDGE...IT HASN'T BEEN LAID DOWN AT ALL IN THE MOVE. WHAT COULD IT BE? THANK YOU PEGGY
AnswerHi Peggie, Often when refrigerator is unplugged and off for long periods of time the fan motors will lock up. Check both fans (one in freezer and one near the compressor) and if one isn’t running see if turning it by hand will free it up enough to start working again. If not you may need to replace the fan. If this isn’t the problem please post the model number of the refrigerator and we can go from there. Thank you, Shawn/administrator
