Answer

Hi,
I couldn’t find that exact model number. I believe you were off by one number because I was able to find a FFC05M1CW0 below is a link to the parts breakdown on that model check to see if that is you model.

Your problem is most likely in the start relay. At times the compressor will cause the start relay to fail but most of the time the relay is all that is wrong. What I suggest is to replace the start relay and if that doesn’t work or it breaks again soon you will be looking at a bad compressor. With a bad compressor it is better to replace the entire freezer. However if you can get by with just replacing the relay it is well worth it.

They call it a controller but it is the same thing I am calling the start relay.

I hope this helps!

Thank you,

Got It Off!
by: Anonymous

Thanks so much for answering me. Ok I didn't know the controller an the
relay was the same thing until you told me. But do not know how to take it off.

I got it off the compressor so what do I do next.

Ok I got the controller off. But the cord is still on it, is that
right. Will the new one have the cord on it if not how do I get it off

I don’t think the cord is going to come with the controller but the old cord should unplug from the controller. Just remember which wires go where it will be best not to remove the wires until you get the new control.
