Whirlpool icemaker not working
I have a Whirlpool GS6SHEXNL00 side by side refridgerator. The icemaker works occasionally. I have not been able to diagnose when or why it works. The water dispensor still works. Any thoughts? Typically the water valve will either work or it will not. The motor/modular will commonly work intermittently but on your model you also have the optics and the door switch. Make sure the door switch is working properly i.e the light cuts on and off.
