replace relay freezer was cool refrrge is cooled but nothing will come on now? Answer If the relay was bad and now it is bad again you have a bad compressor. A bad relay will almost always rattle when you shake it. Replacing a compressor is not a do-it-yourself job; you will need to have someone change it for you that have the correct equipment. However this will not be cheap, expect $500+ repair. If the relay isn’t bad you may have a loose connection or a bad control. You will have to give me the model number for more information.
