Refrigerator not cooling

What could be wrong? - My side by side refrigerator is not cold enough, however the freezer is working just fine.

Answer

This problem is normally caused by an airflow blockage or a bad fan motor. Make sure both fans are running and if not most likely the fan motor is bad.

Next check to see if ice is blocking airflow. Look at the back of the freezer to see if it is covered with ice and if so you most likely have a defrost problem. This could be a bad defrost heater, defrost thermostat or defrost control.
