Ice Frozen in Ice Maker

Hello,

I have a Kenmore side by side and my wife kept food on top of the ice bin and I think it backed things up to where the new ice cubes could not fall out and now are frozen in place. Is this easy to fix removing ice maker and thawing out or do you suggest something else? Thank you.

Yes, first take it out and thaw everything out then start new. If that doesn’t work then we will go from there.
