GE Refrigerator
OK I REPLACE THE RELAY AND THE COMPRSSor IS WORKING frezzer is cold BUT THE BOTTEM of the refrig is not working. what do i do to fix?
AnswerHi,
If the compressor is running the next thing you need to check for is airflow. If the refrigerator isn’t getting proper airflow it will not cool correctly. First check to see if the fans are running and if they are not check to see if anything is blocking them. If nothing is blocking the fan and it still will not run you may have a bad fan motor. If you are working on a newer GE refrigerator this page will help
GE Fan Motor DiagnosticsIf the fans are running you will have to check for an airflow blockage. Ice is the most common thing that will block inside the freezer. Check to see if ice is blocking airflow. There may be thick ice on the coils and if this is the case you have a defrost problem. Try this page if you are working on a newer GE refrigerator
