Ge refrigerator making clicking noise freezer not cooling enough

I have a s/s ge side by side refrigerator that started making clicking noise few weeks ago, was still cooling for few days and then freezer all thawed out, and fridge went to room temp. we messed with the temp contro and unplugged in few time, it came back on after a while started cooling and then next day again making clicking noise and not cooling....help!!!!!

Hi Alex,

If this is a newer GE refrigerator made after 2002 the problem is going to most likely be in the main board. Typically the main board will start a continuous clicking noise with very little pause. If the clicking spaced out with long pauses it can be the compressor start relay.
